Silver Pot with A Hoop Handle and Parrot Design (Tang Dynasty)

Unearthed in 1970 from Hejia Village, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. This artifact was hammered into shape and engraved with parrot and flower designs on the pot, and grape, pomegranate and honeysuckle designs on the lid. Inside the lid there are two lines of characters “Zi Ying Wu Shi Liang”, “Bai Ying Shi Er Liang” which were written in ink.
